A Ringbearer’s Words…

2 Time Champion and first owner of the MEFL Championship Ring, Jeremy, commented on what it’s like to bear the ring:

“When I was first invited to join the MEFL, I remember thinking, just don’t embarrass yourself kid. Boy that was a long time ago.

After winning my first MEFL trophy I remember thinking, OK, maybe these guys will take me seriously now. It was quite an honor to be the first to bear the ring of the MEFL champion. I wore it with pride everywhere and told my story. OK maybe that was a stretch. I think I wore it once for 10 minutes and then put it on my desk at work for the rest of the year. But anyways, wearing the ring makes you feel A real sense of accomplishment especially in a league like where winning is so hard and becoming a champion is even harder. I’ve never felt worthy To have such an honor to be part of an amazing league like this with a bunch of amazing people so that’s why I try so hard. Thank you my MEFL Brothers!
